I was rushing to meet my boyfriend, feeling pensive but no more than usual. It struck me that I’d only had a muffin and cup of tea from starbucks the whole day, and I thought that was weird, being the gourmande that I am. Then I became suddenly aware of a feeling in my tummy that’s been lingering there for a few days. Well, the tears started rolling down my cheeks. I didn’t know where they came from, but I couldn’t stop them. They just sort of came, naturally.

And there we have it, that’s when it happened. I’ve never been one for moving home, albeit moving countries. Though it’s been three big old years now that I’ve not posed my heels for very long. Oh well, on avance et on s’accroche. I wonder what the next adventure will be. Bonne nuit lovely people.

One of my admittedly very french habits is eating the biggest meal of the day at lunchtime, especially if I start work late. Here’s what I whipped up today from leftovers in the fridge. A goat’s cheese and vegetable omelette. Simple, but it did the trick.
